All scripture was inspired by the spirit, God spoke through the spirit and in all these various instances the spirit directly or indirectly pointed us to Jesus Christ. We can be tempted to give scripture personal interpretation but lets remember it was meant to point us to Jesus Christ and to the name of Jesus Christ.
Christ the Antidote
We are the church, the children of God. If we truly believe in Jesus Christ and are led by his spirit and called by his name, then Jesus Christ is the antidote that we need today. Just as in giving birth , delivering the baby is the solution to birth pains, the return of Christ is the only solution for believers.
Call the Name of Jesus Christ and be led by the Holy Spirit
God gave Jesus Christ the name that is above every name, so that those who call on the name of Jesus Christ may live in the hope of eternal life. When we believe in Jesus Christ let us then repent and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ, receive forgiveness of sins and be led by the promised Holy Spirit to call him
